The all-mountain boot with classic lacingThe Burton Kendo is the all-mountain boot for men who want it all, but don’t want to sacrifice the simplicity of a classic lacing system. From demanding pow lines to fast runs and laps in the park, this medium flex boot can handle it all. Outer boot The freely movable shaft allows the upper and lower zones of the boot to be flexed individually. This provides a fluid forward motion, maximum heel stability and minimal upper deformation. The GripLITE Backstay sits firmly between the boot and the Hi-Back to allow direct energy transfer and reduce fatigue. The 1:1 PowerUp tongue with fixed flex sits firmly between the boot and the tongue, so there is no need for adjustment when riding. The EST® optimised midsole shifts the centre of gravity downwards and improves board feel without compromising comfort. ReBounce cushioning gets even closer to your feet. This additional layer is attached to the outer boot and offers more impact protection directly under your foot. Liner The heat-mouldable Imprint 3 liner features a hook-and-loop closure system with an internal lace-up closure for a snug fit and lightweight Power Panels for more response. The AutoCANT padding is made of Dual Density EVA and allows the foot to find a natural, relaxed position. This results in more comfort, less fatigue and more direct board control. The slightly higher Focus Cuff increases heel stability by enclosing the ankle and providing improved response. Lacing system The traditional lacing system is a proven method for a tight and individual fit. Speed hooks made of metal ensure faster and easier lacing and sufficient traction.
